HiWox is building a personalised HealthTech and wellness intelligence ecosystem across 9 wellness dimensions.
The platform will collect and structure health, lifestyle, behavioural, smartphone, wearable, device and clinical data, and transform it into explainable insights, personalised recommendations, rituals, programs and progress intelligence.
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can help build the data and intelligence layer of HiWox and work closely with healthcare scientists, informatics engineers and product/technology teams.

Senior Data Scientist — Equity-Based Founding Role
Key Responsibilities
Health & Wellness Data Science Develop data science frameworks for health, wellness, behavioural, lifestyle, device and clinical datasets across the 9 dimensions.
Data Architecture & Modelling Design structured data models and pipelines for integrating data from smartphones, applications, wearables, smart rings, healthcare devices and clinical tests.
Data Processing & Quality Build systems for data cleaning, validation, normalisation, transformation and quality monitoring across multiple data sources.
Health Scoring & Analytics Develop statistical models, scoring frameworks and analytical methods to identify patterns, trends, relationships and meaningful changes in user health data.
Personalisation Build data-driven systems that support personalised recommendations, interventions, rituals, programs and wellness journeys.
Behaviour & Longitudinal Analysis Analyse behavioural patterns, adherence, engagement and longitudinal health data to understand progress and identify meaningful changes over time.
Algorithm Collaboration Work closely with the Health Informatics & Algorithm Engineer to convert healthcare frameworks and data insights into deterministic, explainable intelligence.
Predictive & Statistical Modelling Develop statistical, machine learning and predictive models where they provide measurable value, while maintaining explainability and scientific validity.
Multi-Source Health Intelligence Analyse relationships between clinical measurements, wearable data, lifestyle behaviours, assessments and other health parameters.
Experimentation & Validation Design experiments, evaluate models, test recommendations and validate data-driven approaches using appropriate statistical methodologies.
Dashboards & Insights Develop data models and analytics supporting dashboards for users, consultants, HiWox Captains, partners and internal teams.
Product Integration Work with product and engineering teams to integrate data science models, APIs, analytics and intelligence capabilities into the HiWox platform.
Research & Innovation Research digital biomarkers, healthcare analytics, personalised health systems, behavioural data science and emerging HealthTech methodologies.
Data Documentation & IP Document methodologies, models, datasets, analytical frameworks and algorithms while identifying opportunities for proprietary data science and intellectual property.
Ideal Candidate
Strong experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Health Data Science or a related field
Experience working with healthcare, wellness, behavioural, clinical or biomedical data
Strong Python, SQL and data analysis skills
Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling and data pipelines
Understanding of longitudinal and multi-source datasets
Experience with recommendation or personalisation systems is an advantage
Understanding of healthcare data privacy, quality and validation
Ability to work with healthcare scientists and translate scientific requirements into data models
Experience with wearables, digital health, medical devices or clinical datasets is preferred
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently in an early-stage startup

Equity-based founding role
No fixed salary at the current stage
Part-time: approximately 20–25 hours/week
Remote / hybrid
Equity based on contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment
5-year vesting structure for core founding members
Fixed compensation to be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilisation
