Video editor and cinematographer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Video Editor and Cinematographer. The role involves filming high-quality video content for Indian weddings and related events, including planning shots, setting up equipment, and capturing cinematic footage. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting and organizing raw footage, editing videos with appropriate transitions, color grading, sound design, and delivering polished final cuts that match brand standards. The Video Editor and Cinematographer will collaborate with photographers and other team members to ensure visual consistency, support personal branding content, and optimize media for fast, secure delivery. The role may also involve experimenting with new styles, leveraging AI-enabled tools, and maintaining equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
Strong skills in video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with basic motion graphics tools.
Proficiency in cinematography, including camera operation, framing, lighting, and audio capture for event and wedding environments.
Experience with color correction and color grading to achieve consistent, cinematic looks suitable for wedding films and social media content.
Ability to work with large volumes of media, organize files efficiently, and integrate AI-based tools or workflows for faster content delivery.
Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition to create engaging highlight films, reels, and long-form edits.
Comfort collaborating on-site with photographers, planners, and studio team members, and responding quickly to changing event conditions.
Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
Prior experience in videography is highly preferred;
Relevant education in film, media, visual communication, or equivalent hands-on experience in professional video production.
