Junior Systems Engineer

The Role
Expand your background in systems engineering and data analysis by learning the methodologies of the Aegis Weapon System (AWS).
Apply source code understanding, software development, systems engineering, and analysis techniques to assess system performance.
Perform detailed data analysis of Combat System computer programs to identify anomalies.
Develop analysis tools, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs in Python and C++.
Assist in research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements, preparing documentation for program changes.
Travel to various test sites to support Combat System testing and root cause isolation of computer program anomalies.
What You'll Need
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a physical science.
Ability to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret Level Security Clearance (active Secret is a plus).
Desired experience in C++, Java, and/or Python programming languages.
Desired experience with Model Based Systems Engineering principles and software (e.g., Rhapsody, Cameo).
Desired experience with Aegis Weapons System or similar Combat Systems.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a team while also working independently.
