Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Assistant Manager with 7–9 years of overall experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba implementation projects.
The ideal candidate should be currently working on an SAP Ariba implementation project and have experience in managing end-to-end implementation activities, client interactions, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage SAP Ariba implementation projects across the complete project lifecycle.
Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand procurement requirements and translate them into SAP Ariba solutions.
Configure and implement SAP Ariba solutions based on business requirements.
Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Work on SAP Ariba Buying, Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts and related modules based on project requirements.
Manage integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA systems.
Work with integration technologies such as CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) and related interfaces.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.
Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT and support defect resolution.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants.
Manage client discussions, project status updates, issue tracking, and deliverables.
Support project planning, estimation, risk identification, and timely delivery.
Provide post-go-live support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
7–9 years of SAP Ariba experience.
Strong experience in SAP Ariba implementation projects.
Candidate should be currently working on an implementation project or have recent end-to-end implementation experience.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Contract processes.
Hands-on experience in one or more of:
SAP Ariba Buying
SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing
SAP Ariba Sourcing
SAP Ariba Contracts
Experience with SAP Ariba CIG integration.
Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA.
Strong requirement gathering and solution design experience.
Good understanding of SAP Ariba configuration and implementation methodology.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in SAP Ariba Guided Buying.
Knowledge of SAP Business Network.
Experience with supplier onboarding and enablement.
Knowledge of SAP MM/P2P processes.
Experience handling multiple workstreams or leading a small team.
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Experience working in a consulting/client-facing environment.
Candidate Profile
