About the Role
We are looking for an experienced OneStream Consultant to join our Finance Transformation / Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice. The role involves working with global clients on OneStream implementation and transformation projects across Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, Financial Close, and Financial Reporting.
The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on exposure to OneStream implementation projects, along with a good understanding of finance and EPM processes.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in end-to-end OneStream implementation projects across Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, Financial Close, and Reporting.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into OneStream solutions.
Participate in fit-gap analysis, solution design, and client workshops.
Configure OneStream components including dimensions, cubes, workflows, forms, business rules, calculations, and application components.
Develop and configure reports, dashboards, cube views, and financial reporting solutions.
Support data integration, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and historical data loads.
Work on Chart of Accounts (CoA), financial hierarchies, and ERP-to-OneStream mapping.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, process documents, and user guides.
Participate in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, cutover, and go-live activities.
Analyze functional issues and provide appropriate solutions during implementation and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with technical, functional, offshore, and onshore teams to deliver project milestones.
Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and resolve project issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement, enhancements, and optimization of existing OneStream solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
4–7 years of overall experience in Finance Transformation, EPM, FP&A, or related consulting.
Mandatory hands-on experience in OneStream implementation projects.
Strong experience in one or more areas: Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, Financial Close, or Financial Reporting.
Good understanding of R2R, Financial Close, FP&A, Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes.
Hands-on experience with OneStream dimensions, cubes, workflows, business rules, calculations, forms, reports, and dashboards.
Experience with data integration, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and financial data loads.
Understanding of Chart of Accounts, financial hierarchies, and ERP-to-OneStream mapping.
Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday is preferred.
Experience in client-facing consulting and requirement-gathering activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global onshore/offshore delivery model.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or other relevant finance qualification is preferred.
OneStream certification or formal OneStream training is an advantage.
Candidates currently working on OneStream implementation projects will be preferred.
