We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Transformation Consultant with 4–7 years of relevant experience to join our Finance Transformation practice. The consultant will work with global clients on SAP Finance transformation and implementation projects, supporting the design and delivery of finance processes across R2R, P2P, and O2C.
The ideal candidate should have strong Finance Functional expertise, hands-on SAP implementation experience, and an understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM), ERP, and EPM transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in end-to-end SAP Finance transformation and implementation projects.
Work with clients to understand current finance processes, business requirements, and transformation objectives.
Conduct process assessment, fit-gap analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.
Provide functional expertise across key finance processes including:
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Support the design and implementation of SAP Finance solutions aligned with business and operating-model requirements.
Contribute to Target Operating Model (TOM) design and finance process transformation.
Support ERP and EPM transformation initiatives, including process integration and finance technology alignment.
Configure and support relevant SAP Finance functionalities based on project requirements.
Work on process harmonization, standardization, and optimization across finance functions.
Support integration between SAP Finance and other business processes/modules.
Prepare functional specifications, process flows, solution documentation, test scenarios, and user guides.
Participate in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and go-live activities.
Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, offshore/onshore teams, and client teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and reporting requirements during implementation.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions aligned with the client's finance transformation strategy.
Provide post-go-live support and participate in continuous improvement and enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
4–7 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance / Finance Transformation / Finance Functional Consulting.
Mandatory hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects.
Strong Finance Functional experience with good understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
Strong understanding of one or more of:
R2R – Record-to-Report
P2P – Procure-to-Pay
O2C – Order-to-Cash
Experience in SAP Finance transformation and process implementation.
Understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM) and finance operating-model transformation.
Exposure to ERP and EPM transformation initiatives.
Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation.
Understanding of integration between SAP Finance and other SAP/business processes.
Experience working in global implementation / transformation projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
