Within our Buildings & Places business, we provide strategic advisory, project management and delivery services across commercial, workplace, residential, education, healthcare and public sector developments.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our London Project Management team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of complex capital projects and programmes for key Property sector clients, working within fast-paced and operational environments. You will play a critical role in managing stakeholder relationships, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful project outcomes from inception through to completion. Experience in delivering M&E and building services projects would be highly desirable given the nature of several current commissions and client requirements.
Your role
Lead the successful delivery of capital projects and programmes across the Property sector from business case through to completion.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing trusted relationships and providing strategic project leadership.
Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee programme, cost, risk, governance and reporting activities, ensuring effective project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate project activities within occupied and operational environments, balancing business continuity and delivery objectives.
Provide clear and concise reporting to clients and senior stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
Mentor and support junior project managers, sharing best practice and contributing to team development.
Support business growth through excellent client service, repeat business opportunities and participation in business development activities.
About you
Proven experience delivering capital projects within a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment.
Strong track record of managing complex projects and programmes in fast-paced client environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills with the ability to influence and build long-term relationships.
Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating consultants and contractors.
Good commercial awareness with a strong understanding of project controls, risk management and governance.
Knowledge and experience of administering projects under JCT and/or NEC contracts.
Professional membership or chartered status with APM, RICS, CIOB or an equivalent professional body, or working towards chartership.
Experience delivering M&E, building services or infrastructure-related projects within operational or corporate property environments would be advantageous.
