SAP MDG Consultant
Enterprise Performance
Our Enterprise Performance team helps clients unlock value from enterprise platforms and package-enabled technologies across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations. As an SAP MDG Technical Consultant, you will support large-scale digital transformation by developing and enhancing SAP Master Data Governance solutions that improve data quality, strengthen governance, and enable efficient business processes.
In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and support technical solutions using SAP MDG, ABAP, FPM, BRFplus, and DRF. You will bring technical development experience, problem-solving skills, and delivery focus to help clients modernize master data processes and advance their transformation objectives.
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
Develop and enhance SAP Master Data Governance technical components using ABAP, Floorplan Manager (FPM), Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus), and Data Replication Framework (DRF).
Review functional requirements and prepare technical specifications for development objects, workflows, validations, and integrations.
Translate approved specifications into code, perform unit testing, and support defect resolution across project phases.
Create and maintain technical documentation, participate in self-reviews and peer reviews, and align deliverables to project quality standards.
Collaborate with functional, onsite, and offshore teams to resolve issues, track assigned activities, and support timely delivery of project milestones.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Shift Timings: 24*7 rotational shifts including night shifts as per business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
3-6 years of experience in SAP technical roles
Experience with SAP Master Data Governance technical development using ABAP, Floorplan Manager (FPM), Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus), and Data Replication Framework (DRF)
Experience supporting or implementing SAP projects
Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications, code, and unit-tested deliverables
Experience producing technical documentation and participating in review processes
Experience using Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools and methodologies
Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management practices
