Informatica MDM Product Specialist

An Informatica MDM Product Specialist designs, implements, and manages Master Data Management (MDM)solutions using Informatica tools to ensure high-quality, single-source enterprise data.
Job Summary
The specialist bridges business needs and technical architecture. They configure data models, build data quality rules, and set up integrations to maintain clean, unified master data (such as Customer or Product 360) across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design: Design and configure Informatica MDM Hub, data models, landing/staging/base tables, and matching/merging rules.
Data Integration: Build ETL pipelines, mappings, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration (CDI), or IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud).
Data Quality: Implement data cleansing, validation, and standardization rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
API & Real-Time Integration: Utilize SIF (Service Integration Framework) or REST APIs for real-time master data synchronization with upstream and downstream systems.
Collaboration: Work with business analysts, data stewards, and stakeholders to map data requirements and resolve data governance issues.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose performance bottlenecks, resolve match/merge anomalies, and optimize SQL queries or PL/SQL procedures.
Skill Requirements
Experience: 4 to 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Informatica MDM (Multidomain, Customer 360, Product 360 or SaaS/IDMC).
Knowledge on Product master domain.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Informatica MDM Hub, IDQ, and ETL integration tools.
Database Skills: Advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.
Frameworks: Familiarity with SIF, RESTful web services, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
