Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Tirupati. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of company equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out troubleshooting and repairs, and providing timely field service and technical support. The role involves preparing service reports, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement. The Service Engineer will also interact with customers to explain service activities, provide basic training on equipment usage, and uphold safety and quality standards in all field operations.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Hands-on experience in field service, including on-site inspections, installations, and customer visits.
Proficiency in maintenance & repair of engines, machinery, or industrial equipment.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service activities, and collaborating with internal teams.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service documentation.
Willingness to work in on-site conditions, travel within the region as needed, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Prior experience in energy, mobility, industrial equipment, or automotive sectors is an advantage.
