Role Description This part-time, remote IT Application Operation Specialist role at G-KT do Brasil focuses on maintaining reliable operation of business-critical applications. The specialist monitors application performance, handles incident resolution, and provides technical support to internal users. Daily tasks include investigating issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams, and executing routine maintenance and updates. The role also involves documenting procedures, improving application-related processes, and supporting change management activities to ensure system stability and continuity.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and interpret system and business data.
Experience in Application Support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise or business applications.
Solid foundation in Information Technology, such as knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, and security best practices.
Background in Technical Support, with the ability to assist users, resolve tickets, and communicate complex technical information clearly.
Understanding of Business Process concepts to align application operations with organizational workflows and efficiency goals.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and remote teams.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Relevant education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience with ITIL or similar frameworks is a plus.
