Role Description The Automation Engineer role at Zynvex Solutions is a full-time remote position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems for digital products and IT services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and configuring automation workflows, integrating control systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. The Automation Engineer will troubleshoot automation-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations. The role also involves documenting technical designs, maintaining standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across tools, processes, and system architectures. This position requires proactive communication, effective collaboration in distributed teams, and a strong focus on quality and security.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Automation and Robotics skills for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Process Control skills for integrating hardware, control systems, and industrial or digital workflows.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system issues, performing root cause analysis, and optimizing performance.
Relevant experience with PLCs, SCADA, or similar control platforms, and scripting or programming languages used in automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate with global teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or software-driven automation projects is beneficial.
