Role Description The Senior Automation Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions across systems, applications, and business processes. In this role, you will analyze workflows, identify automation opportunities, and develop robust automation frameworks that improve efficiency and reliability. You will create and maintain test cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality assurance initiatives, and troubleshoot complex automation issues to ensure stable, scalable solutions. You will also document automation processes, contribute to best practices and standards, and mentor team members on automation tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Process Automation and Automation for designing and implementing efficient automated workflows.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting to diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues in automation scripts and systems.
Experience creating and maintaining Test Cases to validate automation logic and support regression and functional testing.
Background in Quality Assurance to ensure automated solutions meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with common automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar), and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to collaborate in distributed teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and document processes effectively.
Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead automation role, preferably within software development or IT operations environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), monitoring tools, and integration technologies is a plus.
