Electrical Engineer

Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work in a part-time, remote capacity, supporting electrical projects from concept through implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and reviewing electrical designs, preparing technical documentation, and performing calculations for power systems and power distribution. The role involves analyzing existing electrical installations, identifying improvements for safety, efficiency, and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The Electrical Engineer will also provide technical guidance, participate in design reviews, and support troubleshooting and optimization of electrical systems as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity principles.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating and reviewing schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems, including load analysis, system stability, and protection coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, including design and assessment of distribution networks and related equipment.
Relevant qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, experience with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software), knowledge of industry codes and safety standards, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time workload effectively, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
