Video Editor & Motion Designer (Remote)

This is a part-time to full-time remote role for a Video Editor & Motion Designer. In this position, the individual will edit and assemble video footage, refine pacing and narrative flow, and perform basic to advanced color grading to maintain visual consistency and brand standards. The role includes designing and animating motion graphics for intros, lower thirds, explainer videos, social media content, and other digital assets. The Video Editor & Motion Designer will collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams to interpret briefs, contribute visual ideas, and deliver high-quality assets on deadline. Daily responsibilities also involve organizing project files, managing version control, optimizing videos for different platforms and formats, and adapting content based on feedback and performance insights.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software.
Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent visual style and enhance overall image quality.
Candidates should possess Motion Graphics skills, including 2D/3D animation and the ability to create dynamic title sequences and overlays.
Candidates should possess Graphics skills, such as designing visual assets, layouts, and elements that support video storytelling.
Relevant qualifications include a portfolio demonstrating video and motion work, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding brand guidelines, and optimizing content for social media and digital platforms is beneficial.
A degree or formal training in film, animation, design, multimedia, or a related field is helpful but not required when supported by strong experience and portfolio.
