Quality Lead - Energy/Oil/Gas

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer to develop and execute Quality Surveillance plans, Quality programs, procedures and tools across all stages of their Oil and Gas projects. You will provide Quality input to the Project Organization Plan, manage staffing of Quality Source Inspection personnel, and prepare and maintain the Project Quality Plan, making sure it is implemented across the project.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate work between Quality and other project disciplines
Conduct project-specific Quality training and run Quality workshops
Oversee Contractors' implementation of their Quality programs and compliance with project requirements
Maintain ongoing communication with Procurement and Site Quality Coordinators
Perform Quality Surveillance of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities
Resolve quality issues using approved deficiency reporting and tracking procedures
Develop, monitor and report quality metrics to identify, investigate and resolve issues
Develop and participate in the project audit program
Participate in technical Supplier Evaluations and Cold Eyes Reviews
Apply expertise in certification, construction, engineering, inspection and materials to support project quality efforts
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university, CGPA 6.0 and above
Minimum experience of 15 years - minimum 7 years in Quality Management and coordination of quality surveillance / inspection activities on Oil and Gas projects
Experience working with Contractors and Suppliers of materials, equipment and fabrications for production facilities projects
Proficient in common PC software
Preferred
Qualification or certification in auditing and inspection disciplines
Experience auditing quality management systems
Experience with mechanical completion processes and documentation for operations turnover
