JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Windchill PLM Consultant
Location: New York, New York, United States
Work Arrangement: Remote with some travel
Employment Type: Contract
Experience: 8+ years
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Windchill PLM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in PTC Windchill administration, customization, development, and PLM integrations.
The role will focus on Windchill 13/14, Java-based customization, MPMLink and Manufacturing Process Management, data migration, CAD migration, and integration with enterprise systems. Experience supporting manufacturing and aerospace environments is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, upgrade, and support PTC Windchill 13/14 environments.
Develop and customize Windchill using Java and Windchill development frameworks.
Support MPMLink deployment, manufacturing process management, and process plans.
Perform PLM data migration and support data validation and conversion activities.
Support PTC Creo/CAD migration and related PLM processes.
Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA and MES Apriso.
Configure and support workflow, change management, and lifecycle processes.
Support Windchill upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical improvements.
Collaborate with business, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to deliver PLM solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of Windchill / PLM experience.
Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill 13/14 administration and upgrades.
Windchill software development and customization experience.
Strong Java development/customization experience.
Experience with PTC Creo / CAD and CAD migration.
Hands-on PLM data migration experience.
Experience with Windchill MPMLink / Manufacturing Process Management.
Experience with PLM and enterprise-system integrations.
Strong understanding of workflow, lifecycle, and change management.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Manufacturing domain experience.
Aerospace industry experience.
Experience integrating Windchill with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience integrating Windchill with MES Apriso.
Experience supporting complex manufacturing process plans and PLM transformations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Windchill technical consultant/developer who can work across administration, customization, migration, MPMLink, CAD, and enterprise integrations.
Candidates with Windchill 13/14 + Java customization + MPMLink + Creo/CAD migration experience are particularly relevant.
