The client is looking for a QE Engineer who is strong in test automation, Playwright, and AI/agentic testing, with retail industry experience. The role is focused more on hands-on execution and validation of visual/UI testing than traditional manual QA.
What the client is specifically looking for
QE/Automation background with strong hands-on testing experience.
Playwright is a key requirement specifically for UI and visual test automation.
Strong Python or JavaScript automation skills.
Experience with visual regression testing, UI comparison, content validation, or design-to-UI comparison.
Experience using AI-assisted/agentic testing tools, especially:
Ability to run, validate, and troubleshoot AI-generated test results and agent outputs.
Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.
Experience with Jira and/or Monday.com.
Retail industry experience is required.
Comfortable working directly with the team, triaging defects/findings and refining test coverage.
Strong communication and ownership, since this sounds like a hands-on individual contributor role.
