About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated (Senior) Data Analyst (m/w/d) to join our team at our Dortmund location, with the flexibility of up to 80% mobile office. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI, providing valuable insights that support strategic initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, develop KPIs, and create visualizations that make complex data accessible and understandable. Additionally, you will utilize Python and SQL to perform advanced data analyses, uncover patterns, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our reporting landscape. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of healthcare finance through innovative data solutions and collaborative teamwork.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a relevant academic background, such as a degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Ingenieurwissenschaften, Statistik, BWL, or a related field. Extensive professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services sector, is essential. Proficiency in Power BI, Python, and SQL is required to perform complex data analyses and create compelling visualizations. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. A proactive approach, high level of initiative, and structured working style are vital. Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is mandatory for effective collaboration within the team and with clients.
Responsibilities
Create, update, and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business operations and strategic planning.
Develop and implement KPIs that serve as foundational decision-making tools across the organization.
Participate in the design and ongoing development of the reporting landscape, ensuring it aligns with evolving business requirements.
Leverage Python to perform advanced data analyses, uncover insights, and visualize complex relationships within datasets.
Serve as the primary contact for customer dashboards and internal analytical requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Conduct comprehensive data analyses to support strategic initiatives, identify trends, and inform decision-making processes.
Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their data needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and optimize data workflows.
