Cloud Architect

Role Description The Cloud Architect at Líderes con Alma will design, plan, and optimize cloud solutions that align with business and technical requirements. In this part-time, remote role, the person will define cloud architectures, guide infrastructure and integration decisions, and collaborate with software development teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Daily responsibilities include assessing existing environments, proposing improvements, documenting architectures, and participating in technical reviews. The role also involves working with stakeholders to understand needs, translating them into solution designs, and supporting implementation and troubleshooting of cloud-based services.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Solution Architecture and overall Architecture for cloud-based systems.
Strong background in Infrastructure design and management for cloud environments.
Hands-on experience in Software Development to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Proficiency in Integration of cloud services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance best practices in cloud architectures.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of working effectively in remote, distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant cloud or architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
