Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure and services. This role manages the design, implementation, and maintenance of core IT systems, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and security controls. The Vice President will define and execute infrastructure strategy, ensure high availability and scalability, and align technology initiatives with business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading infrastructure and operations teams, governing IT service management processes, prioritizing and overseeing infrastructure projects, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to support growth and compliance. The role also focuses on risk management, vendor coordination, budget oversight, and continuous improvement of infrastructure performance and resilience.
Qualifications
Strong background in Infrastructure management, including data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
Proven experience in IT Strategy development and execution to align technology capabilities with business objectives.
Demonstrated Project Management skills for planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex, cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
Hands-on knowledge of Network Security practices, policies, and tools to safeguard systems and data.
Experience with IT Service Management frameworks and processes (e.g., ITIL) to ensure reliable, high-quality service delivery.
Prior leadership experience managing distributed technical teams and working in remote or hybrid environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or cloud provider certifications) are an advantage.
