📋 Job Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Artist Acquisition and Manager to scout top talent and oversee their career development, branding, and commercial bookings. In this role, you will operate as a strategic partner to both the agency and the artists.
This is a 100% commission-based position offering a highly competitive 30% commission on net revenues generated by the artists you acquire and manage. Your earning potential is directly tied to your ability to secure lucrative deals, sponsorships, and placements for your roster.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Artist Scout & Acquisition (A&R)
Talent Scouting: Actively research, identify, and recruit high-potential artists, creators, or performers who align with the agency's vision.
Vetting & Auditing: Evaluate a potential artist’s marketability, social media engagement, existing fanbase, and long-term career viability.
Contract Negotiation: Pitch the agency’s services to prospective artists and negotiate favorable representation contracts.
2. Career Management & Strategy
Roadmap Development: Create and execute long-term career strategies, branding plans, and release/exhibition schedules for each artist.
Daily Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for the artist, managing their professional calendar, travel logistics, and daily schedules.
Brand Identity: Work with artists to refine their public image, portfolio, and digital presence across all platforms.
3. Business Development & Monetization
Deal Sourcing: Pitch artists to brands, record labels, galleries, streaming platforms, or event organizers to secure bookings, commissions, and sponsorships.
Commercial Negotiation: Handle incoming inquiries and negotiate contracts to secure top-tier financial terms for your roster.
Revenue Diversification: Explore and develop alternative revenue streams, including merchandising, digital products, and licensing deals.
4. Financial & Relationship Management
Net Revenue Optimization: Monitor project expenses tightly to maximize the net profit from which your 30% commission is derived.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain deep industry relationships with PR agencies, legal teams, producers, and corporate sponsors.
