About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our dynamic IT team at Surya Carpet. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web and mobile applications that support our product distribution and organizational agility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server, and be eager to expand their technical skill set. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing development of best practices and system improvements that align with our business objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of programming fundamentals and demonstrate a keen interest in developing technical expertise. Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio is essential. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are critical for success in this role. The candidate should be adaptable, able to work independently or within a team, and comfortable managing multiple priorities within deadlines. Prior experience in web application development, particularly with ASP.NET, MVC, and C#, along with exposure to SQL/database development, is highly preferred. A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and a passion for continuous improvement will set candidates apart.
Responsibilities
Debug and resolve software defects to ensure optimal application performance.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), along with routine data maintenance.
Ensure the proper functioning of applications in a production environment through monitoring and troubleshooting.
Conduct maintenance and problem resolution for core applications, addressing both simple and complex issues.
Design, develop, and document system architecture, source code, and technical specifications.
Create logical and physical data models that meet application requirements and support business needs.
Gather and analyze development and service issues to provide actionable insights and solutions.
Collaborate with team members to implement system enhancements and new features.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to maintain high-quality standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
