Role Description
The Art Director will be responsible for the visual look and feel of Bose Works' films. The role involves working closely with the Director, Cinematographer, Production Designer, and other departments to create a strong and consistent visual style.
The Art Director will work on visual concepts, mood boards, locations, sets, props, colours, and other elements that help bring the story to life.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the visual style of films and short films.
Read scripts and understand the visual requirements of the story.
Create mood boards, references, and visual concepts.
Work with the Director and Cinematographer on the overall look of the film.
Help develop sets, locations, props, colours, and environments.
Coordinate with different departments during pre-production and production.
Maintain visual consistency throughout the film.
Explore new ideas, techniques, and technologies in filmmaking.
Qualifications
Experience in art direction, production design, or filmmaking.
Good understanding of visual storytelling and cinema.
Ability to develop creative visual concepts from a script.
Knowledge of sets, locations, props, colours, and film environments.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of design or visualisation software is an advantage.
A portfolio of film, short film, production design, or related creative work.
Degree, diploma, or practical experience in Film, Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
