Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This position supports daily store operations within the resort, including overseeing merchandising, inventory, and cash handling, and ensuring store policies and procedures are consistently followed. The Assistant Store Manager helps lead and motivate the store team, coordinates staff schedules, and provides coaching to maintain high performance and service standards. A key focus of the role is delivering an excellent guest experience by addressing customer needs, resolving concerns, and promoting resort products and services in a professional and engaging manner. The role also involves monitoring retail loss prevention measures, maintaining visual standards, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with other resort departments to align store activities with overall guest experience goals.
Qualifications
Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to create positive, memorable guest experiences.
Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to interact with diverse guests and team members.
Experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining merchandising and inventory standards.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to follow procedures that minimize shrinkage and protect store assets.
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or resort environments, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and reliability in handling cash and reports.
Proficiency with basic point-of-sale (POS) systems and standard office software.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
