Role Description The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This role supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards. Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping and laundry teams, organizing work schedules, monitoring inventory and supplies, and ensuring adherence to resort policies and hygiene protocols. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager coordinates room readiness for events and high-occupancy periods, responds to guest requests and feedback, and collaborates with Front Office and other departments to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience. The role also contributes to staff onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement in housekeeping procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess Laundry operations knowledge, including handling linens, equipment usage, and quality standards.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Candidates should possess Hiring and basic people management skills to support recruitment, onboarding, and training of housekeeping staff.
Candidates should have prior housekeeping or hospitality experience, preferably in resorts, hotels, or large event properties.
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-occupancy environment.
Candidates should be comfortable with basic computer skills and housekeeping-related systems for scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience will be considered.
