Role Description The US IT Technical Recruiter role is a contract, on-site position based in Chennai. The recruiter will manage end-to-end hiring for US-based IT roles, including sourcing, screening, and qualifying technical candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, maintaining accurate recruitment records, and collaborating with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to understand role requirements and hiring priorities. The role also involves negotiating compensation within client guidelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience, aligning recruitment practices with company policies, and meeting defined hiring timelines and performance targets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Recruiting and IT Recruitment skills for US-based roles.
Candidates should possess solid understanding of Information Technology concepts, roles, and emerging technologies.
Candidates should possess experience in Full-life Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing.
Candidates should possess proven Hiring skills, including evaluating fit, managing stakeholder expectations, and making data-informed recommendations.
Relevant experience in US staffing or recruitment agencies, including familiarity with US time zones and hiring practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical talent and collaborate with internal teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and major job boards and professional networking platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
