Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in Chennai. The Forklift Operator will safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and shipping areas. Daily tasks include handling materials, organizing inventory, and supporting packing and shipping activities in line with company procedures. The role involves following safety protocols, performing basic equipment checks, and reporting any issues to supervisors. The Forklift Operator will collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to maintain accurate documentation and on-time order processing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and basic equipment safety checks.
Candidates should possess skills in Material Handling and Unloading of goods.
Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving and related documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and organizing materials for dispatch.
Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations is beneficial.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Good physical stamina and capability to handle manual tasks as required.
Basic reading and writing skills for logs and labels; familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.
Valid forklift certification or willingness to complete employer-provided training.
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
