We are looking for a skilled BIM Architect to lead the creation, coordination, and management of intelligent architectural building models. You will bridge design creativity with technical execution, working closely with structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and construction teams to deliver clash-free, high-quality documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
• Model Development: Create, update, and maintain accurate architectural BIM models and component libraries using industry software like Revit Architecture.
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive architectural construction documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules from the model.
• Inter-Disciplinary Coordination: Coordinate architectural designs with structural and MEP teams, conducting clash detection (e.g., via Navisworks) to resolve geometric conflicts before site execution.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all models and deliverables adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Level of Development (LOD) requirements, and office standards.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct routine model health checks, audits, and quality control reviews to maintain data integrity and version control.
• Collaboration & Support: Participate in project coordination meetings, support quantity take-offs, and guide junior modelers or drafting teams.
Educational Qualification
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent professional degree.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of overall architectural experience, with at least 2–3 years focused specifically on BIM workflows and management.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with coordination tools like Navisworks and cloud collaboration platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, construction techniques, LOD (Level of Development) definitions, and international standards (such as ISO 19650).
