About the Firm:
A highly respected California real estate boutique law platform representing sophisticated clients including institutional investors, private equity firms, REITs, developers, property owners, investment managers, and national tenants is expanding its Real Estate practice.
The team handles complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, development, joint ventures, leasing, asset management, construction, and land use matters. Recent work has included $165M multifamily portfolio transactions, $360M+ Southern California development matters, $250M mixed-use projects, major office and industrial acquisitions, and large-scale commercial leases.
The broader platform also offers expertise in real estate finance, development and construction, leasing, land use and entitlements, environmental matters, and real estate litigation, giving attorneys exposure to a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters.
This is an opportunity to work on high-value commercial real estate matters for sophisticated clients while enjoying a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fully remote California platform.
Key Responsibilities & Position Overview:
The attorney will advise clients across a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including:
Acquisitions and dispositions
Purchase and sale transactions
Commercial leasing and lease negotiations
Real estate financing
Development and redevelopment matters
Easements and related real property agreements
Real estate due diligence
Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, easements, and other transactional agreements
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
Several years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
3+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate transaction documents
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $300,000–$350,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Additional Compensation:
Quarterly Bonus
Year-End Bonus
Unlimited Billable Hour Bonus
