Langford College is looking for an experienced and qualified Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Hospitality to join our academic quality team.
🔹 Position: Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Hospitality
🔹 Location: Online
🔹 Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Internally quality assure Hospitality assessments and learner work
• Sample and review assessment decisions made by tutors/assessors
• Ensure assessments meet awarding body and qualification requirements
• Monitor the quality, consistency, and fairness of assessment decisions
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to assessors
• Maintain accurate IQA records, sampling plans, and reports
• Support standardisation activities and continuous quality improvement
• Ensure compliance with relevant academic and quality assurance policies
Requirements
• Relevant IQA qualification such as Level 4 Award/Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent
• Strong academic/industry background in Hospitality
• Experience in quality assurance of Hospitality-related qualifications
• Experience working with Level 3, Level 4, Level 5 and/or Level 7 qualifications is an advantage
• Good understanding of UK qualification and assessment standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
