Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations at our hospitality property in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, back of house, and other operational spaces.
Supervise, train, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and consistent service quality.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance coordination.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with property standards.
Manage housekeeping inventory, linen, uniforms, cleaning supplies, and amenities while maintaining cost efficiency.
Coordinate with the Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely room readiness and resolution of maintenance issues.
Monitor staff productivity, duty rosters, attendance, and departmental performance.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Manage vendor coordination, procurement requirements, and departmental budgets.
Handle guest requests and housekeeping related concerns promptly and professionally.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a reputed 4 star or 5 star hotel, luxury resort, or premium hospitality establishment.
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial housekeeping role.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning protocols, linen management, inventory control, and hygiene standards.
Excellent team management, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to maintain high service standards while managing operational costs.
A hands on approach with strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
A diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a relevant hospitality qualification is preferred.
