Role Description The Senior Career Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This position involves providing individualized career counseling to tech professionals, guiding them through career planning, job search strategies, interview preparation, and offer evaluation. The advisor will design and deliver career development programs, workshops, and resources, and maintain ongoing relationships with candidates to support long-term career management. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing candidate profiles, aligning them with suitable opportunities, collaborating with internal placement teams, tracking outcomes, and continuously refining advisory practices based on industry trends and feedback.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management, with a focus on tech or related industries.
Background in Student Counseling or advising early-career professionals, including guiding educational and training decisions.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse backgrounds.
Proven ability to design and deliver workshops, seminars, or training sessions related to careers and employability.
Knowledge of current tech job market trends, roles, and hiring practices, preferably in the Indian and global markets.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Career Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.
Comfort working with data and tools to track candidate progress, placement outcomes, and program effectiveness.
