Compensation: $23.00–$28.00 per hour

Why We Have This Role:
The role focuses on product development, engineering design, and laboratory research. As a
Spring Intern - Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Product Development) at the company, you
will partner with the Engineering team to design, prototype, test, and validate mechanical
components and assemblies used in advanced industrial and scientific instrumentation
products.
Things You Will Do:
●
In this role, you will report to the Flow Solutions Engineering Manager.
●
You will gain hands-on experience with mechanical design, CAD modeling, engineering
analysis, prototype development, product testing, and design documentation while
collaborating closely with senior engineers.
●
Supporting mechanical design, prototype build, design validation, and troubleshooting
activities.
●
Assisting in the design and evaluation of mechanical components and assemblies for
flow-control products.
●
Developing and executing test procedures to verify mechanical functionality, reliability,
and performance.
●
Creating and updating 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and design
documentation.
●
Assisting with engineering analysis, dimensional inspection, and troubleshooting using
laboratory and measurement equipment.
●
Documenting designs, calculations, test results, and development activities to support
engineering projects.
Candidate Requirements:
●
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
●
Junior standing preferred (typically completed core mechanical engineering coursework).
●
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing
processes, and engineering mechanics.
●
Experience with 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings.
●
Familiarity with mechanical measurement and inspection tools such as calipers,
micrometers, and gauges.
●
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
