Vice President of Strategic Operations

Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Operations is responsible for effectively bridging the gap between corporate strategic planning and operational execution, translating corporate strategy into concrete operational plans, business objectives, and execution measures.
This role requires close collaboration with senior management, business units, and functional teams to oversee key strategic projects, operational performance, resource allocation, and process optimization, thereby driving continuous improvement in overall operational efficiency and the achievement of business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s strategic operations plan and annual key work plans.
Translate corporate strategic goals into actionable business plans and operational metrics.
Oversee the overall advancement of key strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Establish strategic operations management mechanisms and performance management systems.
Monitor key business metrics, operational performance, and the achievement of strategic objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with finance, sales, marketing, product, customer, and operations teams.
Analyze business and operational data to provide decision-making support to senior management.
Identify efficiency issues, risks, and growth opportunities within business operations.
Drive business process optimization, resource allocation, and improvements in operational efficiency.
Manage priorities, resources, and execution schedules for key operational projects.
Establish mechanisms for tracking, reporting, and managing risks for strategic projects.
Drive the effective implementation of corporate strategic plans across business units.
Lead and manage the strategic operations team; establish mechanisms for team performance and talent development.
Regularly report on strategy execution and operational performance to the CEO and senior management.
Adjust strategy execution plans and operational priorities in response to changing business conditions.
Qualifications
20–25+ years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, operations management, management consulting, or related fields.
10+ years of experience in strategic operations, senior management, or cross-functional leadership.
Experience in executing corporate strategy and building operational systems.
Experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects or strategic project portfolios.
Strong capabilities in business analysis, data analysis, and strategic thinking.
Familiarity with operational metrics, budget management, resource planning, and process optimization.
Excellent skills in cross-functional communication, coordination, and stakeholder management.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
Excellent team leadership and talent development skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and drive project implementation in complex, multi-tasking environments. Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Business Management, Strategic Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related fields are preferred.
