Key Responsibilities for Service Delivery Managers
ProfessionalsManage and oversee end-to-end service delivery to ensure consistent, reliable, and high-quality services.
Develop and implement service delivery strategies aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
Manage service performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
Monitor service performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead incident, problem, and service request management processes to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Coordinate with technical, operations, infrastructure, application, security, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Conduct regular service reviews and prepare performance reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, service optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
Manage service delivery risks, escalations, dependencies, and business continuity requirements.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, IT service management practices, security standards, and contractual obligations.
Manage service delivery budgets, resources, capacity planning, and operational costs.
Lead, mentor, and develop service delivery and support teams to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.
Support service transition, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives for new and existing services.
Maintain accurate service documentation, SLA records, incident reports, performance metrics, and operational procedures.
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor's / master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–20 years of relevant experience (varies by country).
English communication skills.
