Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sanskrit Teacher (Bihar Board) based in Patna. The Sanskrit Teacher will design and deliver Bihar Board–aligned Sanskrit lessons for Classes 8–10, ensuring clear concept explanation and regular reinforcement. Responsibilities include planning daily and weekly lesson plans, preparing exam-focused practice sessions, and conducting interactive classroom teaching. The teacher will assess student progress through tests, assignments, and feedback, and provide individualized support where needed. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, collaborating with academic coordinators, participating in training sessions, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching materials and methodologies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills, with proven experience in instructing Sanskrit at school level, preferably for Bihar Board.
Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, syllabus-based lesson plans and exam-oriented content.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
Relevant academic qualification in Sanskrit (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) from a recognized institution; B.Ed or equivalent teacher training is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Bihar Board syllabus, assessment patterns, and exam preparation strategies; prior experience teaching Classes 8–10 is an advantage.
Comfort in using basic educational technology tools for presentations, assessments, and student progress tracking.
Strong classroom management abilities, empathy for rural learners, and a commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory education.
