Role Description The Science Teacher – Bihar Board will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction in science for Classes 8–10, with a strong focus on Bihar Board standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Patna and involves planning and conducting classroom sessions, explaining concepts clearly, and using practical examples to build strong foundational understanding. The teacher will design lesson plans, prepare exam-oriented materials, assess student performance through tests and assignments, and provide feedback to support individual learning needs. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom discipline, collaborating with other faculty members, participating in academic planning, and communicating with students and families about academic progress. The role may involve contributing to study materials, remedial sessions, and academic initiatives aligned with Edural Classes™’ mission to serve rural and underserved communities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Science Education knowledge with the ability to teach integrated science concepts to Bihar Board students in Classes 8–10.
Candidates should possess subject-specific expertise in Physics and Mathematics to support interdisciplinary learning and exam preparation.
Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with relevant academic credentials in Science or Education and familiarity with Bihar Board curriculum and exam patterns.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including designing structured, exam-focused, and student-centered lesson plans.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior teaching experience at school or coaching centers, strong classroom management, clear communication skills in Hindi and basic English, and the ability to use technology-based tools for teaching and assessment.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field is preferred, along with a commitment to supporting rural and first-generation learners.
