Role Description The Project Manager Civil Resort Project is a full-time, on-site role based in Namsai, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of a resort construction project. The individual will plan, schedule, and monitor civil works; coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers; and ensure work is completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Daily tasks include supervising site activities, managing materials and logistics, tracking progress against timelines and budgets, resolving operational issues, and preparing regular reports for senior management and clients. The role also involves inspecting ongoing work, managing expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of resources, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to keep the project on track.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary civil construction activities.
Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as working as an Expeditor and handling Expediting tasks to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
Candidates should possess inspection capabilities, including conducting site Inspection, verifying quality of civil works, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management and coordination of material flow, vendor deliveries, and site inventory.
Relevant civil engineering or construction management degree or diploma, with prior experience managing resort, hospitality, or similar large-scale civil projects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications, and to use project management tools or software.
Strong stakeholder communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site in Namsai and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and safety practices; familiarity with contract management and basic cost control is an advantage.
