Role Description As a Product Designer at Fastack Technologies, you will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design software products that simplify business operations for SME clients. You will lead end-to-end product design activities, including user research, concept development, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design for web and mobile applications. Your day-to-day work will involve translating business requirements and client workflows into intuitive, user-centered interfaces, applying design thinking to solve complex problems. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and AI specialists to iterate on designs based on user feedback and data, ensuring solutions are both usable and technically feasible. You will also contribute to maintaining design systems, documenting design decisions, and presenting your work to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Qualifications
Strong product design skills, including Product Design and Design Thinking, with experience in end-to-end digital product development.
Proficiency in user-focused research, including User Research and UX Research, to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
Solid Visual Design capabilities, with the ability to create clear, consistent, and engaging interfaces for web and mobile products.
Experience using modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and working with or maintaining design systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams, communicate design rationale, and incorporate feedback constructively.
Understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience designing B2B or SaaS products, especially in AI- or data-driven environments, is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in Chennai and engaging directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
