Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Forward Deployed Engineer role based in Chennai. The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with clients to understand business processes, gather technical requirements, and translate them into robust software solutions. Responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end services, integrating AI-driven features where relevant, and ensuring applications are reliable, scalable, and maintainable. The role involves deploying solutions in customer environments, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and providing knowledge transfer and technical guidance to users and internal teams. Collaboration with product, design, and business stakeholders is expected to deliver practical, high-impact solutions on time.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and cloud or server-side architectures.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ability to work closely with customers on-site, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience deploying and supporting production systems, with strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Familiarity with AI, data-driven applications, or distributed systems is an advantage.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and client needs.
