Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. The Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security systems to safeguard our applications, networks, and sensitive information. The role involves conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, developing security protocols, and responding to security incidents. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing compliance with security standards and regulations is essential.
Qualifications
Expertise in Application Security, including identifying vulnerabilities and implementing secure coding practices.
Strong knowledge of Network Security and Infrastructure Security best practices for detecting and addressing unauthorized access or threats.
Proven experience in Cybersecurity and Security Engineering, focusing on safeguarding systems against evolving threats.
Proficiency in Information Security principles, including data protection, compliance, and risk management.
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI DSS.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or CISM) preferred.
