Role Description This full-time remote Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support Job Spread’s platform and internal systems. The Software Engineer will write clean, efficient code, implement back-end services and APIs, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver new features and improvements. Daily tasks include reviewing and optimizing existing code, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. The role also includes working closely with other engineers to ensure high performance, reliability, and security across all systems, while following best practices and industry standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough testing and debugging.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
