Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the operational excellence of the product organization. This position leads cross-functional planning, prioritization, and execution to ensure product initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing product processes, defining metrics and dashboards, coordinating program and project plans, and enabling teams with tools and frameworks that improve efficiency and quality. The role partners closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows, remove blockers, and continuously improve product delivery practices. The Vice President also mentors team members, drives adoption of best practices, and supports leadership in portfolio planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Product Operations, including building and optimizing product processes, workflows, and governance.
Strong Program Management experience, with a track record of overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing dependencies.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and use insights to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Solid Product Management background, with experience in product lifecycle management and collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Proven leadership experience in a senior operations or product role, preferably within fintech or a technology-driven environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across diverse, distributed teams.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced setting, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience building inclusive, supportive team cultures and championing equity-focused initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
