Staff Software Engineer – AI Engineer / AI Developer

Staff Software Engineer – AI Engineer / AI Developer
Tech Stack: Python, AWS, AI Agents, Agent SDKs, MCP, Microservices, APIs, Distributed Systems, AI Observability, CLI/Developer Tools
Role: Design and build secure, scalable AI infrastructure and agent platforms, including agent control planes, backend services, security controls, observability, and developer tooling. Own projects from architecture through production.
Required:
3+ years software engineering experience
Strong backend engineering with excellent Python
AWS and microservices experience
API and distributed systems design
Hands-on AI applications, AI agents, or agentic workflows
Experience with Agent SDKs and familiarity with MCP
Developer tools, APIs, or CLI development
Strong software architecture and production engineering
Ability to independently drive projects end-to-end
Preferred:
AI Agent Control Plane experience
AI security, policy enforcement, or secure AI systems
AI observability platforms
LLMs in production
Kubernetes and containerized services
Cloud-integrated AI systems
AI governance, guardrails, and runtime security
