Role Description The Key Account Manager / Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, focused on managing and growing strategic key accounts for Voltas’ cooling and engineering solutions. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales and long-term partnerships. Daily responsibilities include preparing account plans, tracking sales performance, coordinating with internal teams for proposals, pricing, and deliveries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service. The role also requires monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business planning and identify new opportunities. The position calls for proactive communication, regular client visits, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet revenue and retention targets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Account Management and Key Accounts skills to handle strategic customers and drive relationship-based growth.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to interpret data, forecast demand, and develop effective account strategies.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to address client requirements, resolve issues, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Candidates should ideally have experience in HVAC, consumer durables, or engineering solutions, with knowledge of commercial and retail channels.
Candidates should have strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work on-site, travel for client meetings, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
