Company Description Taxcart is a global tax engine that automates sales tax, VAT, and GST across online checkouts, invoices, and ERP systems. Through a single integration and transparent flat-rate pricing, Taxcart helps businesses simplify cross-border commerce and stay compliant with complex tax regulations. The platform applies accurate tax calculations to every transaction, reducing manual work and risk of errors. Taxcart supports organizations of various sizes that sell internationally and need reliable, scalable tax automation.
Role Description The Contract Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing the lifecycle of commercial contracts that support Taxcart’s global operations. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer, vendor, and partner agreements in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, legal, and operations to clarify contract terms, mitigate risks, and ensure timely execution. The Contract Specialist will maintain an organized contract repository, track key dates and obligations, and support continuous improvements to contract templates and processes. This role also contributes to compliance with tax, data privacy, and other relevant regulations that impact contractual arrangements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret contractual language, assess risks, and support data-driven decisions.
Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to lead and support discussions with customers, vendors, and partners.
Candidates should possess Communication skills, including clear written and verbal abilities, to collaborate effectively across teams and with external parties.
Candidates should possess expertise in Contractual Agreements, including drafting, reviewing, and interpreting commercial contracts.
Candidates should possess Contract Management skills to organize, track, and maintain contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Relevant experience in commercial, SaaS, or technology contracts and familiarity with global tax or compliance environments is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and use contract management and collaboration tools effectively.
