Company Description
PortfolioFuture is an independent fund discovery and intelligence company focused on ETFs and mutual funds. The team uses empirical research to evaluate and rank funds, uncover credible competitive positions, and support better allocation decisions in investor and advisor portfolios. PortfolioFuture analyzes fund substitution, relative performance, and investable return decomposition to clarify what individual funds contribute to portfolio outcomes. For asset managers, the company connects independent fund research with portfolio and ownership intelligence to highlight evidence-based opportunities and relevant distribution channels. All research is independent, with rankings and conclusions driven by data rather than commercial relationships.

This is a remote internship role for a UX Designer at PortfolioFuture. The UX Designer intern will support the design of user-centered experiences across web platforms, tools, and dashboards used by investors, advisors, and asset managers. Day-to-day work includes conducting user research, synthesizing insights, defining user journeys, and applying design thinking to solve complex information and workflow challenges. The intern will create low- and high-fidelity prototypes, collaborate on visual design elements, and iterate on interaction patterns based on feedback and usability testing. The role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and research teams to ensure that complex financial data and insights are presented clearly, intuitively, and accessibly.
