About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description Elite Maternity Services provides specialized support to new parents in the comfort and security of their own home, helping them confidently care for their baby. The team consists of maternity support professionals with healthcare backgrounds, a strong passion for working with new families, and extensive hands-on experience. Services focus on practical help, education, and guidance around scheduling, feeding, sleeping, and overall newborn care, allowing parents time to rest and recover. While staff can identify concerns and refer clients to appropriate medical professionals, they do not replace midwifery care and instead focus on supporting and enhancing the early family experience.
Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist will provide remote client support, focusing on the physical and emotional well-being of individuals during the maternity and postnatal period. This contract role involves conducting virtual consultations, developing tailored treatment plans, and advising clients on techniques that promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support recovery. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client needs, explaining appropriate massage modalities, offering self-care and positioning guidance, and documenting client interactions in a clear and confidential manner. The therapist will collaborate with other maternity support professionals as needed, maintain professional boundaries, and ensure services are delivered in a respectful, culturally sensitive, and client-centered way.
