In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing and building the foundational risk platform that underpins our industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Golang, microservices architecture, and diverse database ecosystems to deliver comprehensive visibility into organizational risks, management features, and prioritization workflows. Your work will contribute to a globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystem that integrates risk data from CrowdStrike’s internal providers and third-party sources. As a technical leader, you will drive end-to-end product delivery, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and scope. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the cybersecurity landscape by developing innovative exposure management solutions that safeguard organizations from complex threats. If you are passionate about operating at scale and eager to learn Golang, we welcome your application.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in building, delivering, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems processing high-volume data. Strong expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as Golang or Python is essential, along with proven experience in designing scalable microservices and REST APIs. Candidates should have a solid background in developing data platforms involving distributed ETLs and data ingestion pipelines, along with comprehensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP. A deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including concurrency and scalability patterns, is required. Proficiency with message queues such as Kafka, and database versatility across RDBMS, NoSQL, and distributed caches like Redis, is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills for complex architectures, adherence to engineering best practices, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent professional background is expected. Bonus qualifications include experience with machine learning, AI technologies, cybersecurity, graph databases, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and open-source contributions.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer at CrowdStrike, your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable backend services that power both internal and customer-facing applications, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop APIs, microservices, and data pipelines that support platform growth. Working closely with the DevOps team, you will design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, automating deployment and monitoring processes while ensuring compliance with security standards. You will design and optimize database solutions, including RDBMS, NoSQL, and distributed data stores, to support data integrity and performance. Troubleshooting complex distributed architectures to resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues will be a key aspect of your role, along with developing monitoring and logging solutions to enhance system visibility. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Additionally, you will lead operational excellence initiatives, including configuring monitoring, alerting, incident response, and ensuring high availability of production services. Your work will directly impact the security posture of our clients by enabling robust risk management and exposure analysis capabilities.
